Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo

Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic puree
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 10 oz penne noodles, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your Crock Pot with cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the pot.
  3. Pour the heavy cream and chicken broth over the chicken.
  4. Add the butter, garlic puree, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover the Crock Pot with the lid and cook on High for 3 hours.
  6. After 2 hours, remove the chicken breasts from the pot and set them on a cutting board.
  7. Add the penne noodles and shredded Parmesan cheese to the pot and stir well.
  8. Cover the Crock Pot and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
  9. While the pasta is cooking, chop the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  10. After 30 minutes, stir the penne well.
  11. Add the chopped chicken back to the pot and stir to combine.
  12. Stir in the parsley flakes.
  13. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  14. Turn off the Crock Pot, stir one last time, and serve.
