Garlic Parmesan Wings (Air Fryer or Oven)

For the Wings:

  • 4 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tablespoon aluminum-free baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 8 ounces unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Wings:
    • If using an air fryer, preheat it to 360°F. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Toss well to ensure each wing is coated.
  2. Air Fry or Oven Bake:
    • For Air Frying: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the wings in a single layer without touching. Air fry for 12 minutes, flip, then air fry for another 12 minutes. Repeat with remaining wings.
    • For Oven Baking: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Arrange the wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flip, then bake for another 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
  3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
    • While the wings are cooking, combine melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, and black pepper in a bowl. Whisk together until well blended.
  4. Toss the Wings:
    • Once cooked, toss the wings in the garlic Parmesan sauce until evenly coated. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish.

Enjoy your Garlic Parmesan Wings fresh from the air fryer or oven, a flavorful treat that’s perfect for any gathering or a cozy night in.
