Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 English cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 1 small red onion, sliced into thin half-moons

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dressing:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh dill, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add Vegetables:
    • Add the sliced cucumbers and red onion to the bowl with the dressing.
    • Use a spatula to gently toss and mix until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  3. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve:
    • Give the salad a quick stir before serving.
