Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup salted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (Ghirardelli recommended)
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray (coconut oil spray works great). Set aside.
  2. Mix Butter and Sugar:
    • In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the softened butter and light brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add Peanut Butter:
    • Stir in the creamy peanut butter using a spatula until fully mixed.
  4. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
    • Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  5. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until everything is fully incorporated.
  7. Add Chocolate Chips:
    • Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  8. Prepare the Blondies:
    • Evenly spread the batter into the prepared baking pan using a spatula or your fingers. Press the Reese’s Pieces into the top of the batter.
