Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Blondies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup salted butter (room temperature)
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (Ghirardelli recommended)
- 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray (coconut oil spray works great). Set aside.
- Mix Butter and Sugar:
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the softened butter and light brown sugar until well combined.
- Add Peanut Butter:
- Stir in the creamy peanut butter using a spatula until fully mixed.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla:
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until everything is fully incorporated.
- Add Chocolate Chips:
- Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Prepare the Blondies:
- Evenly spread the batter into the prepared baking pan using a spatula or your fingers. Press the Reese’s Pieces into the top of the batter.
- Bake:
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Slice:
- Let the blondies cool on a wire rack before slicing them into bars.
