Raspberry Cream Cheese Bread Bombs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup fresh raspberries
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking tray by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, fresh raspberries, and powdered sugar until smooth and well-blended.
  4. Slowly add the milk and melted butter into the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and roll it out to about ½-inch thickness.
  6. Use a round cutter to cut out small circles of dough.
  7. Place a spoonful of the raspberry cream cheese mixture in the center of each circle.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal, forming a half-moon shape.
  9. Arrange the filled dough bombs on the prepared baking tray.
  10. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until they turn golden-brown.
  11. Allow them to cool slightly before dusting with additional powdered sugar for a finishing touch.

Enjoy!
