Cheesy Taco Stuffed Shells Recipe
Ingredients:
- 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups jarred salsa (divided)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer until the water evaporates.
- Mix in 1 cup of salsa and 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Stuff the cooked pasta shells with the beef mixture.
- Place the stuffed shells in a baking dish, then top with the remaining salsa and cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
