3 Musketeers Candy

3 Musketeers Candy

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 24 ounces chocolate almond bark

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:
    • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overlap on the edges to make it easier to lift out the candy later.
  2. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 3 cups of chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Make the Filling:
    • Using an electric mixer, beat the melted chocolate on high for about 30 seconds.
    • Add the entire container of Cool Whip to the chocolate and mix on medium speed for about 1 minute, until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. This is your 3 Musketeers filling.
  4. Freeze the Filling:
    • Spread the fluffy chocolate mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Freeze for 30 minutes to set.
  5. Cut the Candy Bars:
    • Remove the pan from the freezer and lift the set filling onto a cutting board.
    • Trim the edges of the square to clean it up, then cut the filling into bite-sized candy bars (you should get about 16 pieces).
    • Place the cut pieces on a sheet pan, spreading them out so they don’t stick together, and freeze for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Coat the Candy Bars:
    • While the bars are freezing, melt the chocolate almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl, using 30-second intervals and stirring between each until fully melted (alternatively, you can use a double boiler).
    • Remove the bars from the freezer and dip each piece into the melted almond bark, tapping off any excess chocolate. Place the coated bars back on parchment or wax paper.
  7. Set the Chocolate:
    • Return the coated candy bars to the freezer or refrigerator for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is dry and firm.

Enjoy your homemade 3 Musketeers Candy!
