Chocolate Lasagna

Ingredients

Oreo Crust:

  • 36 regular Oreos
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

Layer 1:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold milk
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip, divided

Layer 2:

  • 2 (3.9-ounce) packages dry chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3 ¼ cups cold milk

Topping (optional):

  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Crushed Oreos

Instructions

  1. Oreo Crust:
    • Use a food processor or blender to crush the Oreos (including the cream filling) into fine crumbs.
    • Mix the crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish and chill in the freezer or refrigerator for 5 minutes.
  2. Layer 1:
    • In a medium bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until fluffy using an electric mixer.
    • Add the sugar and 2 tablespoons of cold milk, mixing until well combined.
    • Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip, then spread the mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
    • Chill in the freezer or refrigerator for another 5-10 minutes.
  3. Layer 2:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 3 ¼ cups of cold milk until thickened.
    • Spread the thickened pudding over the cream cheese layer.
    • Return the dish to the fridge for another 5-10 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
  4. Topping:
    • Once the pudding has set, spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top.
    • Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips or crushed Oreos if desired.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before serving. Slice and enjoy cold.
