One Pot Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb cavatappi noodles, uncooked
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 10.5 oz condensed cheddar soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Toppings
- 8 Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine the uncooked cavatappi noodles, water, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well.
- Place the pot on the stove over high heat and bring the liquid to a boil, stirring every couple of minutes to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom.
- Once the liquid is boiling, reduce the heat to medium. Continue cooking and stirring every couple of minutes until the noodles are tender.
- Add the condensed cheddar soup to the pot and stir well.
- Remove the pot from the heat and add the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and fully incorporated.
- Sprinkle the crushed Ritz cracker crumbs over the top of the macaroni.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.
