Million Dollar Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 lb uncooked spaghetti
- 1.5 lbs mild Italian sausage, casings removed
- 48 oz marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp basil pesto
- 3 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook the sausage, crumbling it well as it cooks.
- Once the sausage is fully cooked, add the marinara sauce and stir well.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the pot and stir until all the spaghetti is coated in sauce. Remove the pot from the heat.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and basil pesto. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
- In a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish, spread half of the spaghetti mixture evenly.
- Spread the cream cheese and sour cream mixture over the spaghetti layer.
- Top with the remaining spaghetti mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted and starts to brown.
- Remove the dish from the oven and serve immediately.
