Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced yellow onions
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your Crock Pot with cooking spray.
  2. Add the diced onions to the Crock Pot.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer on top of the onions.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, water, sage, pepper, and parsley. Whisk well.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
  6. Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
  7. After 5 hours, remove the lid and stir the chicken and gravy well, breaking apart the chicken breasts as you stir.
  8. Serve the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
