strawberry and Cream Delight Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 oz) package of strawberry gelatin
  • 2 (3 oz) packages of cook & serve vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups of hot water
  • 8 oz of Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups of fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, mix together the strawberry gelatin, vanilla pudding mixes, and hot water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Continue boiling and stirring until the mixture becomes clear.
  3. Pour the mixture into a dish or bowl and let it chill until set. For best results, prepare it the night before and let it chill overnight.
  4. Before serving, blend the Cool Whip into the jello/pudding mixture using a potato masher to ensure a smooth consistency.
  5. Add the diced strawberries just before serving and stir gently to incorporate them throughout the salad.
  6. Keep any leftovers refrigerated.
