Roasted Shrimp with Garlic and Parmesan Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb medium-sized shrimp, cleaned and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely minced
½ tsp oregano, dried
½ tsp basil, dried
¼ cup Parmesan, freshly grated
Salt and black pepper, according to taste
Juice from 1 lemon
2 tbsp parsley, freshly chopped, for decoration
Instructions:
Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking tray by lightly greasing it with olive oil or using a non-stick spray.
Spread the shrimp out in a single layer on the baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the garlic, oregano, basil, and grated Parmesan over them. Season with salt and pepper to your liking and gently mix to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
Transfer the tray to the oven and roast the shrimp until they turn pink, firm, and are fully cooked. This should take about 6-8 minutes.
Once out of the oven, sprinkle lemon juice over the shrimp for a burst of freshness.
Serve the shrimp hot, adorned with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for an added touch of color and flavor.
