Caramelized Bananas with Cinnamon and Honey
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey, either raw or regular
Instructions:
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt and mix together the cinnamon, butter, and honey until they’re well combined.
- Place the banana slices in the skillet and allow them to cook for about 4 minutes. Keep an eye on them to ensure the bottoms caramelize to a golden brown without burning. Adjust the heat and timing as necessary.
- Carefully flip each piece of banana over and cook for another 4 minutes, or until the other side also achieves a golden brown hue.
- Serve these delicious caramelized bananas right away. They make the perfect topping for ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or French toast.
