Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 3 mashed ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup of white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten lightly
- 1/3 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preparation: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a muffin tin by lightly greasing 12 cups or lining them with muffin liners.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a sizable bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until evenly mixed.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix the mashed bananas, sugar, the lightly beaten egg, and melted butter.
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the wet banana mixture into the dry ingredients, taking care not to overmix. Just stir until the flour mixture is moistened. Then, gently fold in the chocolate chips to the batter.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Evenly distribute the muffin batter among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of a muffin; it should come out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the muffins to cool slightly in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your freshly baked Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins warm or at room temperature.
